Madrid, Spain, 21nd of February 2021, We are excited to announce that Soamee becomes a verified member of Pangea community and has been listed among the top 7% of global software engineering companies.

The process of joining Pangea

On our first call with Pangea’s team, We felt very aligned about the thoughts & direction of both companies. Soamee is on a great path of starting to grow consistently and that call was a great opportunity to start making some progress on the management and business side.

It was really well received inside the management team because it made us gather some metrics, information, and data that we haven’t put into perspective before this process. We understood that we have some blind spots in some of our internal processes and metrics.

Regarding the 4 weeks verification process, and because of those blind spots detected, We just have to say that it has been really helpful for us. Moreover, It was a really well guided-process.

After finishing the process, we have compiled some new ideas and have started working on them.

Some of the learnings we found with Pangea

Our main growth has come since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. We are very proud of doubling the team size in the past 16 months. It was a really happy phase, but due to this team growth, We know for sure that we already have a lot of room to improve most of our management and process workflows.

Also, step by step, and thanks to the verification process, we are starting to measure a lot of things that we were not doing before, so I’m pretty sure that we will increase our efficiency on that point too. We’ve already discovered some interesting KPIs (key performance indicator) that we didn’t take into account.

Indeed we are really happy about some of the best scores from our own team regarding Culture (9/10) and Peer Rapport (9.3/10). We will continue improving these scores so our team works in the best possible environment. It’s also important for us to find some good points on Wellbeing (8.9/10) and Personal Growth (8.5/10).

During this process, we have also contacted past and present clients that gave us some clear insights about our strengths and where we can improve. We are glad to see great scores on Project Management (9/10) and Customer Journey (9/10).

Finally, we just want to thank Pangea’s team because it was a really great process in which we learn a lot and helped us to put some focus on our next steps to improve Soamee.

We have designed a complete roadmap for this complete year in order to apply all the learning from the whole process (and we know we will learn even more since day 1).
